August 18: A one-day workshop on “One Day workshop on Pedagogical Strategies for Language Teaching” was held today at the Conference Hall, Guest House, Tripura University. The workshop was a collaborative effort between Vidya Bharati and SCERT, Tripura, and aimed to enhance the teaching skills of language teachers across the state.Forty-five language teachers from all over Tripura attended the workshop, which featured expert sessions by renowned educators. Sri Ramkrishna Bhattacharya, Principal of Umakanta English Medium School, Agartala, Sri Partha Aacharya, Academic officer at SCERT, Tripura, and Dr. Munmun Das Biswas, Assistant Professor at IASE, Agartala, shared their expertise on innovative pedagogical strategies for language teaching.The workshop focused on equipping teachers with effective methods to improve language learning outcomes in their students. The experts emphasized the importance of interactive and student-centered approaches in language teaching.The participants engaged in interactive sessions, discussions, and hands-on activities, gaining valuable insights and practical tips to enhance their teaching practices. The workshop concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, where all participants were awarded certificates of participation.The collaboration between Vidya Bharati and SCERT, Tripura, has been instrumental in organizing such capacity-building programs for teachers, contributing to the overall improvement of education in the state.
